Salmon River Flow
Artists’ Notes: Five miles outside of Long Lake on the east side of the road, I walked a half a mile up a hill and went out into a flooded beaver area. I set up my camera to the east where I knew the sun would come up and slept on a humak. When I saw the first golden light, I positioned the camera so the beaver lodge was in it, towards the center. I used Sachtler tripod, a 210mm lens and I slightly tilted the front standard and made one frame with the 8x10 camera.
